Difference between Expedia Hackathon API and EAN API

Is there a difference for the Hotel Search results if I use the hackathon API (http://hackathon.expedia.com/) or the EAN API (http://developer.ean.com/)?

  EAN APIs offer non-branded experiences for the consumers. Brand Expedia APIs hosted on http://hackathon.expedia.com offer branded experience. For example: hotel reviews posted by expedia verified customers, package deals available only for Expedia customers, hotel discounts offered only on Brand expedia websites so on so forth.

  As for the question of the search result differences: Yes there is. The set of hotels, pricing, availability, content returned from the http://hackathon.expedia.com is relevant to Brand Expedia, as in content customers see on www.expedia.com
